Give It All Up!!

To give it all up, means just that, but my friend the flesh dies hard. While a very crucial blow was stuck at the moment of salvation, the destruction of the flash may take many years, it can even take a life time. The flesh has made us the center of ourselves, the flesh has been our god, and the flesh will cripple our walk with the Lord, for the flesh is sin!
Many who say they know the Lord only know the god of flesh, and the god of flesh is a false and deadly god! However, when our faith really is in the Lord Jesus Christ, He becomes our executioner; He executes the flesh and He does this so we can really live. He then becomes the center of our lives and we only reflect His image.
When we are finally empty of ourselves then we are ready to be filled with His Spirit. He will come and rule and reign at the center of our hearts and at the center of our minds as well. His thoughts will become our thoughts. Treasures of His excellent beauty will begin to manifest for both His joy and our joy. Real joy and real peace only comes from the Lord Jesus Christ!
Jesus wants to redeem us from ourselves and in doing so will enable us to walk out a life of sanctification, and that walk is step by step. Each step brings us closer to our Lord Jesus Christ and each step takes us further from the flesh; there is just no neutral ground in the life of the believer. The believer is both dying daily and becoming more and more like Christ or he is stagnant which will lead to backsliding and that will lead to his demise! The times that await each of us will be difficult and only dead men will survive and experience victory! He will like Paul said be more than a conqueror!
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
Paul said when he is weak he is strong! We must learn to die so we can live, knowing that His grace is sufficient.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
I am a nobody! I am just a man who has been so fortunate to experience salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. My life, my desires, my goals, is being shaped into whatever he wants those goals and desires to be. My life is being conformed to His image. I can do nothing but sin I my own power; anything good that I do is from Him and Him alone.
It is all about dying so we can live. Dying to self is often painful, very painful, but what joy it brings. I have only begun to taste this kind of death and while it may taste very bitter, the fruit it will produce is indescribable! Praise God for Who He is!
Will you join with me and give it all up! Pray for death so you can live! Give up your life for an exchanged life in Christ.
My prayer is if anyone should read this and does not know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord you will seek Him now.
Ask Him to be you Savior and Lord now! Repent of your sins! Repentance means to turn around from the direction you are going and go toward the Lord.
Ask God to forgive you of all your sins; no matter what you have done He will forgive you! He will and wants to forgive you! Put all your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and depend on Him and Him alone to save you. After this you should be baptize in water! Praise God we are all saved by grace through faith and there is nothing we do to earn salvation, but we must never forget that faith without works is dead. As one grows in the Lord he will mature into the person that God wants him to be.
Then it is very important to find fellowship with a group of people who can help you in your walk with the Lord. You need to be helped so you can also help others.
Praise God, when you give it all up, you will get everything!! Praise His Holy Name!!!!
